One click for system status and support options
The new "A" menu shows you important system information, lets you know when your Mac needs attention, and gives you access to Ask Adam's support options with just a click (or two).
Look for this icon in your menu bar (in the top right, near the clock, Wi-Fi, and Spotlight search icons).
System status
The Ask Adam menu reports useful info including your Mac's operating system version, disk usage, and time since last reboot (or "uptime").
A dot will appear in the following situations:
- a new macOS update is available (click to update)
- your storage is getting full (click for suggestions to free up space)
- your Mac should be restarted (you'll need to go to the Apple menu > Restart for this one)
