How to Uninstall Beacon+

Note: To remove the Beacon+ tool, you need to be logged in as an administrator. To confirm that your current account is an administrator, open System Preferences > Users & Groups and look for ‘Admin’ under the Current User’s name.

This article may not apply to all customers. Please contact us at support@askadam.io for assistance removing Beacon+ from your Mac. We do not charge for offboarding.

To uninstall Beacon+

1. Open the Terminal app (in Applications > Utilities)
2. Enter the following command and press return:
   sudo /Library/Mac-MSP/Gruntwork/gruntWorker.sh selfdestruct
3. Enter your login password when prompted.
